Positive Adjectives
Importance of Adjectives
We know that adjectives
have great importance in the English language. We can say that sentences in the
English language without adjectives look like dough without salt. There will be
no taste of the bread if we don’t put some amount of salt.
An adjective is a part of
speech that we use to describe a noun. Adjectives are words that say something
more about nouns. Just imagine for a while. What if we don’t use adjectives?
Except few cases, we won’t be able to convey our messages without using
adjectives.
Let me give you an example.
I like red beans. This is a short sentence. If we remove the adjective “red”
from the sentence, it will become (I like beans). Now compare the sentences.
The sentence with the adjective "red" conveys that I like just red beans. The sentence
without an adjective (I like beans) conveys that I like all varieties of beans.
